In January 2021, NLTS Global Analytics conducted a representative survey among German adults. The focus was not a single portal, but whether SCHUFA still lives up to its claim of “creating trust”.

Results show a clear tension: many respondents report negative experiences with entries; a significant share also distrusts the agency’s work without personal prior incidents. Outdated or incorrect data was a recurring theme.
